We offer activities aimed at both primary school and secondary school groups, and can tailor these to include a residential trip at different budget levels.

Our activities are not scaled down for the students – we use highly qualified Instructors who bring their vast knowledge and experience to the activity and ensure the participants have the opportunity to learn about the outdoors and appreciate it whilst thoroughly enjoying the activity.

All the activities listed in our Adventure section are suitable for students and we add team building games and activities that ensure every child feels included and engaged throughout the experience.

Each participant will achieve individually and leave with a great sense of personal triumph.  Our activity days focus on great fun, superb experiences and develop not only greater teamwork but what we hope will be a long standing relationship with the great outdoors.

We can ensure the event meets curriculum requirements, adds value to field trips and gives real learning outcomes.

Outdoor Activity Ideas for Schools

When you have a few minutes, look through these successful options run by us and see if you can be inspired to create your own package for your group.

Nidderdale

Stay at the superb Studfold Activity Centre in Nidderdale (sleeps 26) and explore this outstanding area with your group.

We can arrange for additional camping so a larger group can swap places and spend some nights under canvas and some indoors, but all with their own private facilities and base.

The activities in this area are superb and we can offer mountain biking, gorge adventures, abseiling, rock climbing, bouldering, weaselling, caving, bushcraft skills (including den making, fire starting, emergency first aid and survival), orienteering, hiking, map reading, archery and can arrange with our partners to combine an educational visit to a local Llama farm and trek out with their animals, or evening presentations on diversification in the farming industry.

Yorkshire Dales

Stay at bunk barns and hostels with superb facilities and great layouts for small or larger groups. The Yorkshire Dales is an immense playground for outdoor fun and we can organise activities to meet any experience level. The activity options are superb and we offer mountain biking, gorge adventures, abseiling, rock climbing, some of the best caving in the UK, bushcraft skills including den making, fire starting, emergency first aid and survival, orienteering, hiking, map reading and archery
