Gorge Walking Yorkshire – Special Offer 20th October

We have a late availability offer for a group Gorge Walking experience on Saturday 20th October, 10-1pm in North Yorkshire – one of the most popular activities we offer.

The experience includes a 67ft abseil into a beautiful gorge, scrambling up waterfalls, swimming through deep pools and sliding down lots of natural chutes – as well as a certain amount of horse play on the way.

All the safety equipment you need is provided (wetsuit, buoyancy aid, helmet not to mention the abseiling kit) and the whole event is managed by a highly qualified and experienced outdoor instructor so it’s suitable for groups of all ages.  All you need to bring is your swimmies, some old trainers/walking boots and a towel.

As it’s the end of the season we’re making this outdoor experience available for a group of up to six at just £200 – you can bring less people if you want, or if your group is larger then please contact us and we’ll calculate the difference is price based on the size of your group.

This is a great opportunity to experience a terrific outdoor adventure with Rock Steady – it’s offered on a first come first served basis at this price so please contact Rock Steady through this link to check availability and confirm your details.

York accommodation – new hotels added

After a manic summer of group outdoor activities we’ve finally got some time to catch up with admin – including posting an update to the blog which was sorely missing in September!

We’ve now added three more accommodation venues in York and one in Bradford – browse the Group Outdoor Activities map where you can see the accommodation relative to where our main activities take place.

We’re happy to suggest accommodation for your group’s activity or organise it as part of a Team Building event – just ask when you enquire for details or view the accommodation section of the website to see a range of places to stay across Yorkshire.

Many of the venues are fellow Welcome to Yorkshire members so you can be assured of a warm welcome – either after or before your group outdoor activities.
