After a manic summer of group outdoor activities we’ve finally got some time to catch up with admin – including posting an update to the blog which was sorely missing in September!
We’ve now added three more accommodation venues in York and one in Bradford – browse the Group Outdoor Activities map where you can see the accommodation relative to where our main activities take place.
We’re happy to suggest accommodation for your group’s activity or organise it as part of a Team Building event – just ask when you enquire for details or view the accommodation section of the website to see a range of places to stay across Yorkshire.
Many of the venues are fellow Welcome to Yorkshire members so you can be assured of a warm welcome – either after or before your group outdoor activities.
For anyone visiting Yorkshire there’s a great website with really useful information on Accommodation, Eating Out as well as Tourist Information for places across the North York Moors.
So whether you’re planning an overnight or a full holiday in Yorkshire it’s worth visiting the website to find great places to stay like log cabins, holiday cottages, campsites, hotels, guest houses, holiday parks, apartments and lots more, plus a whole range of things to do places to go and fantastic culinary delights.
North Yorkshire is truly a wonderful place with something for all the family and all budgets, so start planning your holiday to this wonderful region and enjoy a holiday never to forget.
It’s good to help local Yorkshire businesses promote their services – it’s less than three hours from London, Edinburgh or Glasgow to Leeds or York and we think more businesses should ‘get away’ to Yorkshire for their corporate entertainment and team building.
We’re building a new section of the website which provides contact details for mountain equipment retailers across Yorkshire.
So if you need additional outdoor clothing, walking boots or camping equipment then have a browse of the new section and contact the relevant store directly, or even better visit when in the area so you can benefit from the expert help and advice.
If you own or manage an outdoor equipment shop and would like your details adding to the new section then please just contact Rock Steady Adventure and we’ll sort it out.
Rock Steady Adventure are listed on the following directories – see their sites by clicking the links below
Once you’ve got the stag party and hen do activities sorted (through Rock Steady of course!) then you can organise the finishing touches for the wedding day. We highly recommend the Mirage String Quartet – for that added touch of class for your event.
We’re pleased to wok with the team at ActivYork who maintain a great business directory of businesses in the York area.
Those helpful chaps at Simply the Best Man have a load of resources to help guide any first time best men on the etiquette that goes with this important and often nerve racking role. Have a look at their website and when you’ve got your head around the formalities then browse our site – select a suitable outdoor adventure, work out how many people will attend the do then let us know your preferred dates.
