Adventure Website Updates

As part of the preparation for spring (typically an upturn in demand for our Outdoor Adventures) we’ve revised a lot of the content on the website with additional activities for Outdoor Clubs, Geography Field Trips and Team Fun Days for sports clubs.

Most of the popular outdoor adventures from previous years have been maintained so if you’re planning a corporate event, stag do or hen party then please browse the site for your group and contact us with details of your group size, potential dates, your objectives and budget – we can then tailor an event to suit you perfectly.


End of April Outdoor Activity Roundup

Despite the howling gales and severe wet weather the weekend’s outdoor activities for Rock Steady have all been successfully completed – the instructors end of day reports are filed and the safety equipment has been returned to the stores so time to relax now.

We implemented our wet weather contingency for the school group rock climbing at Brimham Rocks, North Yorkshire today calling an early close to the rock climbing, scrambling and weaselling to change the beauty of the natural environment for the practicality of a purpose built indoor climbing wall.

Having stressed about the sheer amount of rainfall all week a fantastic break in the rain resulted in almost perfect caving conditions at Alum Pot & the Long Churn caving system for a stag do on Saturday.

In amongst the group outdoor pursuits this weekend we’ve also added Dalby Forest Lodges and two beautiful Wass self catering cottages to our accommodation section – so welcome on board to the new places to stay.
